Back before I was changing diapers and blogging about it, I used to work for a real life, brick & mortar company as a “Communications Specialist.”  One of my responsibilities was PR, which included writing up web copy for the website, brochures for conferences and press releases for new products. I still enjoy that type of work, except now rather than writing about engineering software, I prefer to promote and review products that I would actually use, such as Wet Ones.

Test Subject #1 (just kidding)

If you own a website or sell a product that caters to women like me or families like mine, then I just might be interested in writing a review for you. For websites I charge a flat rate of $5 (as of April 1, 2010). If you have a product you’d like me to review, all I ask is that you send me a free sample – there’s no additional monetary charge. (I like stuff.)

My rules:

1. I decide whether to review your product or website based on whether I would actually use it myself. I won’t promote things just for the money or the freebies. For example, I will  not review your new heavy metal album, but I might review your self-cleaning bib (does anyone make those? I wish!) I have to maintain some kind of integrity on my website, ya know?

2. When I write my review, I will use my own words (unless I like yours better, of course) and will express my honest unbiased opinion. You are paying for my time, not my loyalty. I will most likely use my own photo, too – because then my readers will know I actually tried the product! Because of this, I’ll give you the chance to preview my review before I publish it, that way you have the option of saying, “no thanks.”

Please send me an e-mail if you are interested at kim @ (no spaces, obviously.)
